How To Get To Lakawon Island

Lakawon Island Bacolod is located just above the Negros Island and the boats depart from Cadiz Viejo Port in the North.

Most people choose to stay in Bacolod, which is the closest big city and is only a 90 minute drive to Cadiz Viejo Port.

We recommend taking a Grab taxi from Bacolod to Cadiz for the convenience of this trip which will cost no more than 1000 Pesos ($20).

For a cheaper way, you can ride a jeepney to the New Bacolod Ceres Northbound Terminal. From here you can catch a bus to Cadiz City, costing 200 Pesos. Then ride a trike to the port, which should be no more than 120 Pesos.

From Cadiz Viejo, you take a shared catamaran boat to Lakawon Island Bacolod for a total price of 350 Pesos (which includes entrance to the island and return boat costs). The boat ride is around 20 minutes.

The return boat transfer from Lakawon Island to Tawhai Floating Bar costs 285 Pesos.
