1. Married To The Sea
Married to the Sea is an Ocean Lifestyle clothing brand, and one of our favourite Newquay shops!
With its trendy and welcoming exterior you can’t help but wander in for a look at what it has inside.
Offering handmade, quality apparel, for both men and women, these guys have a very sleek approach to the ocean related logos and designs available both in store and online!
As well as traditional tees and hoodies, they also offer hard goods such as belly boards and surf boards too.
If you haven’t tried surfing and fancy giving it a go, Newquay: Introduction to Surfing Lesson is a great place to start.
2. Watershed
Watershed Brand launched off the back of the successful Watershed Surf Shop concept store, which opened in 2012 in Newquay.
After stocking well known brands such as Levis, Converse and Dickies for a few years, they decided to design, manufacture and test their own products.
And, in early 2015, decided it was time to launch Watershed as a stand-alone brand.
Now pumping it full time, Watershed is one of the best known Newquay shops for boards, clothing and grooming products.
Plus they also have an on-site, laid-back, rustic cafe which is well worth a visit!
3. Wave Project
Wave Project are more than just another of the Newquay shops on the hight street. They in fact run award-winning surf therapy and beach school projects across the UK.
Their store, on Fort Street, can be found whilst shopping in Newquay, but their gear can also be found online where you can purchase some awesome surf related apparel.
The Wave Project offers free surf-therapy courses for people diagnosed with mental health disorders, ranging from mild to severe.
And since 2018, the shop has helped to fund their work to ensure the surf-therapy courses remain free of charge.
4. IC Clothing
IC Clothing is a fine branded fashion store for men and women, stocking brands such as Havaianas, Bellfield, Native Youth, and Cuckoos.
Their stand alone store on Central Square is in the hub of everything happening. And with their constantly changing stock, you’re bound to find something unique whilst shopping in Newquay.
5. Ann’s Cottage
Ann’s Cottage has shops across the whole of Cornwall and the UK, making it one of the largest retailers of surf wear and accessories in the country.
With the most popular store located right on the front of Fistral Beach, some claim it’s the UK’s number 1 surf shop!
Certainly this was one of our favourite Newquay shops. If you’re looking for anything surf related, both in and out of the water, then Ann’s Cottage is the place to be!

6. Weird Fish
Weird Fish is a lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer founded in 1993.
Now booming with more than 1,400 stockists all across the UK, they have 15 dedicated Weird Fish stores, including one that can be found on Fore Street when shopping in Newquay.
One of the more upmarket Newquay Shops, Weird Fish is great if you’re looking for some stylish, classic looking clothing and accessories.
7. Northshore Surf Shop
This shop ‘does what it says on the tin’.
Operating in Newquay for nearly 30 years, they label themselves as ‘passionate about surfing and proving it everyday’.
Northshore Surf Shop was one of the most chilled places we went in to when shopping in Newquay. The staff were super friendly and it’s one of the old school Newquay shops you expect to see proudly doing its business.
Northshore is all about quality products and a quality service.
