What To Expect At Palma Nova Beach

Sitting on the edge of the busy tourist town of Palma Nova, this is an easily accessible beach surrounded by shops and restaurants.

Palma Nova Beach is a large, soft white sand beach with beautiful crystal clear waters. There are also gardens and a beautiful pine grove at the back of the beach.

This beach is actually one of three beaches that are linked by a wide, tiled promenade. Es Carregador and Son Matias being the other two beaches.

Facilities are excellent at all three beaches, with sun loungers and parasols for rent, showers and toilets lifeguarding services (May to October) and water sport activities on offer.

From windsurfing and kitesurfing to sailing and kayaking, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

In addition, if you are looking to be active, you can play beach volleyball, frisbee, football etc.

This Blue Flag beach slopes gently down to the sea, which is usually pretty calm during the summer months, and is ideal for families and children.

The pine grove towards the back of the beach, offers some pleasant shade on the hotter days. There are also some small play areas for children at the back of the beach.

Along the promenade you will find many restaurants offering, amongst other things, fresh local Mediterranean cuisine.

Alternatively, you can sit out on one of the large terraces and enjoy a cocktail or two whilst soaking up the sunshine and beautiful views.

This large, clean, soft sand beach is great for all ages to have the perfect beach day, with everything you need right on hand.
