Love Valley is located just outside of the town of Goreme, in Cappadocia.
From Goreme to Love Valley it takes around 10 minutes by car, and from Uchisar around 15 minutes.

Sunrise and sunset, although very popular with tourists trying to get the best pics, are both beautiful times to visit this unique landscape.
Cappadocia hosts an International Hot Air Balloon Festival, usually held in July or August each year, and if visiting during that time the skies over Love Valley are a burst of colour.
More than a dozen countries participate and hundreds of multi coloured balloons take off during the three day festival.
Watching the multi coloured balloons drifting across this unique landscape makes for some breathtaking views.

What To Pack
The History Of Love Valley
Love Valley is a hidden valley that earned its name because of the penis shaped fairy chimney formations that can reach heights of 100 ft (30m).
Despite the resemblance to manhood, these amazing rock formations are far from man-made.
These strange tall rock structures, that resemble some interesting phallic shapes, are in fact eroded volcanic ash dating back some 60 million years. They sit at over a thousand metres altitude.
What To Expect At Love Valley Cappadocia
At Love Valley, you can visit the viewpoint from above or you can trek right down to the base of these huge structures. It’s a safe and easy hike and you get a real feel of the Cappadocia magic.
Famous for the rock formations, mountain ridges and lush valley floor, Love Valley is recommended as one of the best hiking trails in Cappadocia.
There is generally no rainfall in the area but the Cappadocia does have really hot, dry summers and cold, snowy winters.
Love Valley is also said to be popular with couples that visit there to make marriage proposals.
This Valley is possibly the most famous Valley in Cappadocia.

There are a lot of tours available in Cappadocia where the Love Valley is included.
So if you end up choosing the tour option, you’ll likely stop by these magical fairy chimneys along with other must see valleys such as Rose Valley and Pigeon Valley.
While you’re capturing your Cappadocia Instagram shots with these unusual monuments, don’t forget to stop at the specifically designed photo spots lined up along the edge of the valley.
Also, before you leave, don’t forget to make a wish at the wish tree! A long, historic Turkish tradition.
