Leela Beach In Koh Phangan – A Complete Guide

Leela Beach in Koh Phangan is a stunning, secluded spot just a stones throw away from Haad Rin. Here’s your guide to visiting.

How To Get To Leela Beach In Koh Phangan

Leela Beach Koh Phangan is located on the very southern point of the island, right on the opposite side of Haad Rin Beach.

The water is blue and the location is up there with the best beaches in Koh Phangan.

If you’re looking for transport to and from Koh Phangan, you can pre-book all of your Lomprayah transfers.

We stayed in the Thong Sala area of Koh Phangan and rented scooters for 180 Baht per day.

It’s definitely the easiest way to explore the island and took roughly 30 minutes to reach Leela Beach from Thong Sala Pier.

For those short on time, or that prefer everything to be organised for them, there are some awesome tours on Get Your Guide available to book in advance.

What To Expect At Leela Beach In Koh Phangan

Leela Beach is another of the best beaches in Koh Phangan. With pure white sand and the bluest water, we were in absolute heaven.

Like a lot of the beaches on Koh Phangan, you have to enter through a resort. We chose to enter at the northern end of the beach through Cocohut Resort because this is the end where the famous swing is.

Also, at this end of the beach, there is a walk way that goes out into the bluest parts of the ocean. It’s perfect for those tropical holiday shots.

The beach is generally filled with the residents that are staying at the resorts so it’s not so busy. As there is no real public entrance, it certainly gives it that secluded feel.

The ocean was in fact the clearest we’ve seen on the whole island.

There aren’t any waves crashing in so it makes for the perfect place to star fish and enjoy the paradise.
