What To Pack
Lago Covel is a stunning glacial lake reflecting the snow capped mountains in its backdrop.
Lago Covel is not just a lake. There is a small hike around the lake where you can take in the epic views of the mountains surrounding you.
If you walk at slow pace, it takes around half an hour to get back round to the starting point.
During the peaceful walk surrounding Lago Covel, you will also pass by a small waterfall.
We visited Lago Covel in the autumn season so it was completely silent with no one else around.
Many tourists, especially families, spend the day here during the summer enjoying the fresh air, nature and open space.
There are numerous picnic tables surrounding the lake, as well as open grassy areas. So don’t forget to take your picnic blanket and a good feast when you visit.
So there you have it. A small easy trek in nature, a gentle waterfall and an insanely beautiful lake. Not forgetting a picnic, so you can sit, relax and take it all in.
