Lago Covel In Val Di Sole – A Complete Guide

Lago Covel is a stunning glacial lake with insane reflections. As one the most picturesque locations in Val Di Sole, here’s all you need to know.

How To Get To Lago Covel In Val Di Sole

Many hotels in the area of Val Di Sole have bus transfers available to Lago Covel.

We highly recommend renting a car because you have the opportunity to explore the area in your own time.

If you rent a car for your entire trip in Italy, you can pick the car up from the airport where you land and drive from there into Trentino. Another option is of course a private taxi to the lake.

For those short on time, or that prefer everything to be organised for them, there are some awesome tours on Get Your Guide available to book in advance.

We visited Lago Covel in the autumn season so it was completely silent with no one else around.

Many tourists, especially families, spend the day here during the summer enjoying the fresh air, nature and open space.

There are numerous picnic tables surrounding the lake, as well as open grassy areas. So don’t forget to take your picnic blanket and a good feast when you visit.

So there you have it. A small easy trek in nature, a gentle waterfall and an insanely beautiful lake. Not forgetting a picnic, so you can sit, relax and take it all in.

Lago Covel should definitely be high on your list of things to do in Val Di Sole Trentino as it’s one of the beautiful lakes in the region.
