How To Get To Campuhan Ridge Walk Ubud

Campuhan Ridge Walk is located right in the heart of Ubud town.

There are actually two entrances, although the easiest place to start is pin pointed on Google maps.

The location itself is sort of tricky to find but if you spot the ‘IBAH luxury villas and spa’ sign, you turn straight into there and you will find the carpark.

Best Time To Visit the Campuhan Ridge Walk + Tips

Early morning or late afternoon/evening, when it is cooler, makes for a really enjoyable walk.

(There is no shade along this walk.)

Sunset is an especially good time due to it being cooler and the lighting is great for some stunning photos.

There can be a few bugs around in the early morning and late evening, so don’t forget the insect repellent!

There are a few cafes along the way if you get too hot and thirsty. 

The fresh coconut with water is very refreshing!

What To Expect At Campuhan Ridge Walk Ubud

This ridge walk is an unexpected treat in the centre of the town of Ubud. Moreover, it takes you away from the hustle and bustle and out into the fresh air for some calm and tranquility.

Once up on the Campuhan Ridge Walk you quickly realise, from the far reaching views, that Ubud really is in the middle of the tropical jungle. 

The full walk is a smooth 2km trek. There’s no need to dress in your hiking gear as it can be just a steady stroll, that takes as long as you choose.

There are parts of the walk that are uphill and some downhill but nothing too strenuous and you can go at your own pace.

You will be treated to a variety of scenery along the way, including lush green valleys, forests, pretty streams and rice fields, as well as small settlements.

This peaceful walk engages you with the local culture as you pass through the small villages with local artisans and warungs offering souvenirs and refreshments.

Campuhan Ridge Walk Ubud is super family friendly, in fact it’s the perfect place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the views together. 

In addition, this walk has quickly become recognised for its windy block paved path and scenic vistas that offer great photo opportunities.
