If you’re looking for the best Benidorm viewpoints then look no further. We’ve broken down our 5 favourite viewpoints. Here’s all the info.
1. Benidorm Island
Benidorm Island is a very small island, sitting approximately 3.5 kilometres from the Spanish mainland. It is also a nature reserve of Spain and one of the best Benidorm viewpoints.
Super close to the holiday town, it’s just a five minute ferry ride from Levante Beach and there are boats going back and forth to the island every hour.
It takes around 10/15 minutes to reach the top at a slow pace. So Benidorm island is entirely suitable for families and the stunning views of Benidorm from the top are really worth the ride.

2. Balcon Del Mediterraneo (Castle Viewpoint)
The Old Town is home to probably one of the most popular Benidorm viewpoints.
After a short stroll along Levante Beach, you will reach the Old Town. If you keep left there is a small incline which leads up to the very beautiful Balcon Del Mediterraneo.
The traditional white, Spanish stone work set against the turquoise blue of the sea makes this a stunning viewpoint.
At sunset it does get a little busy here because of the stunning photo opportunities. However, the area itself is surrounded by small cafes where you can order a soda or a cocktail, relax and enjoy watching the sun go down.

3. La Creu de Benidorm (Benidorm Cross)
Sierra Helada Natural Park is a mountain and marine conservation area spanning across 13,750 acres in total. Benidorm’s famous cross is situated at the top of this park.
Sierra Helada Natural Park is best explored by boat or hiking trails, and is also one of the top adventurous things to do in Benidorm.
Although you don’t have to be too adventurous to get to one of our favourite Benidorm viewpoints.
The beginning of the trail from Benidorm to Albir is located at this huge religious cross. With the viewing platform standing at 217m above sea level, it gives a fantastic view of the whole of Benidorm!
You can even see as far as the bay and watch people out taking part in Benidorm water sports.

4. Sierra Cortina
The jeep tour we took was definitely something special and gave us the opportunity to visit another great viewpoint – Sierra Cortina.
We went a few kilometres in from the coastline and into the rocky roads and rich green countryside. This was yet another expedition where we saw a different side to Benidorm.
You can ride with or without a driver, along the insane tracks through the mountains and stunning valleys. Bringing you out at some of the best Benidorm viewpoints on the island.
We stopped at the amazing viewpoint which our guide told us was called Sierra Cortina and it overlooked everything!
There are many different Jeep Tours available, from half day to full day, where you can visit numerous spots with lunch included.
To book a Benidorm Jeep Tour we recommend Marco Polo Expeditions.

5. Tossal De La Cala Viewpoint
Tossal De La Cala is located at the end of Poniente Beach on a hill 100 metres above sea level.
It takes roughly a 40 minute walk to reach from the middle of Poniente and the walk is all uphill. So be prepared for a bit of a workout!
Once home to a Roman fort, nowadays, the exposed foundations of this Roman settlement are open for the public to view.
Reaching out from the foot of where you stand, you will be able to see all the way across to the far end of Poniente Beach and beyond.
We rose early one morning to visit Tossal De La Cala at sunrise, and as you can see by the photos it was definitely one of the best viewpoints in Benidorm.
