The best time to visit the island is between May and September when the weather is dry and it is easy to explore the island.

Don’t forget you camera as there are some really stunning views to capture.
What To Pack
What To Expect At Angels Billabong Nusa Penida
Angels Billabong is an incredible rock formation on Nusa Penida Island’s Southwestern cliff edges. Amongst the rocks is a very beautiful, naturally formed infinity pool.
As you enter from the car park, Angels Billabong will be the first spot you see, however we advise skipping past and heading straight to Broken Beach.
The reason we say this is that Broken Beach is purely a photo spot, so you can grab some great shots and then head back to chill in the water!
Nusa Penida is becoming more and more popular amongst tourists for its spectacular rock formations, although Angels Billabong is in a league of its own.

We really enjoyed this spot on our Nusa Penida tour purely because it’s the perfect place to hang out with friends and watch the ocean crashing over the side whilst cooling off from those sweaty walks.
The pools are crystal clear and make for a peaceful soak, but only during low tide! The tide is changing all the time so make sure you do your research before-hand.
Don’t attempt to swim at Angels Billabong outside of the right times. The waters from the open Indian Ocean can be pretty rough.
Just a short 5 minute trek around the corner from Angels Billabong comes another Instagram famous spot – Broken Beach.
